Joel Embiid has never let a loss keep him from throwing shade at his opponents, or their fans. After the Philadelphia 76ers got trounced by the Boston Celtics in Game 1 Monday night, Embiid took a shot at the crowd at TD Garden, saying the fans in Philly are louder.“It was OK,” Embiid said, via WEEI.com. “I think our fans our louder than that so I mean, it was OK.”Of course, this likely has something to do with Celtics fans taking aim at Embiid’s rookie teammate, Ben Simmons, with a barrage of “Not-a-rookie” chants.
