The Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday showed their support for the Noblesville West Middle School community, who are still dealing with the aftermath with a shooting that occurred last week. The school is located not far from Indianapolis, about 27 miles to the north. Jason Seaman, a seventh-grade science teacher, has been credited for saving lives by bravely confronting the armed student, getting shot three times in the process by thwarting the attack. Seaman, who is recovering from his injuries, has since stated his decisions “were the only acceptable actions” in order to protect the students in his classroom.Seaman went on to deflect attention to a 13-year-old Ella Whistler, who was critically wounded after being shot during the incident.The Colts paid tribute to the bravery demonstrated by Seaman and support for Whistler and the entire Noblesville community by donning shirts which in part read “NOBStrong” during an offseason practice.
