An NBA executive tweeting from anonymous Twitter accounts in an attempt to make himself look better may sound laughable to many of us, but the Philadelphia 76ers do not believe it is a joking matter.On Wednesday, the Sixers announced that they have launched an investigation into general manager Bryan Colangelo’s social media activity. In an in-depth article published on Tuesday by Ben Detrick of The Ringer, Colangelo is accused of operating five secret Twitter accounts with which he criticized members of the 76ers and shared private information about the team in order to bolster his own reputation. In a span of about two years, Colangelo allegedly used the burner accounts to point out the shortcomings of Joel Embiid, Markelle Fultz, 76ers coach Brett Brown and others.
