Carlos Gomez doubles down on MLB drug testing criticism

Carlos Gomez is currently in the middle of his 12th season in the majors, and needless to say, he’s seen plenty. More often than not, you’ll see Gomez pop up when people are whining about baseball players having fun, but over the last two weeks, he’s been in the headlines for a different reason. In fact, he just keeps calling out Major League Baseball. More specifically, he’s calling out the drug testing program. Not only does he believe it isn’t random, but he wants the league to prove to him that it is. And he’s not going to stop talking about it until it does.Per ESPN, Gomez just isn’t backing down.“They tell you that it’s random, that they do the tests randomly and those players who go out there, go and do a drug test,” he starts. “Until they prove to me that it is random, I will not believe it. Because for me, it’s not random. They go and choose the person they want. It’s not random. If it’s not that, show it to me.”But how can he be so sure?
