LeBron James bemoans lack of days off in Cavs-Raptors series

LeBron James is not a fan of the fact that the Eastern Conference semifinal series between his Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors has only one scheduled off-day between every game. In fact, James is downright bemused by the notion, as every other semifinal series has some built-in multiple days of rest between games for much-needed rest and recovery. James is correct that it is indeed “kinda weird” how the NBA postseason schedule for the four semifinal series plays out in such a manner. The issue — at least from the Cavs’ perspective — is that James is averaging a whopping 41.9 minutes per game in the postseason, much higher than the 36.9 minutes averaged during the regular season.James, after shouldering such a heavy workload in the Cavs’ first-round series win over the Indiana Pacers, insisted he’ll “be fine” going forward and fatigue will not be an issue. That said, Tyronn Lue said the team will nevertheless monitor James’ minutes in an attempt to get him rest if and when that’s ever possible.Of cours
