Tiger Woods just couldn’t get out of his own way on Friday at The Memorial. Despite the 5-under 67, Woods will remember Day 2 for something else entirely. Per ESPN’s Bob Harig, he wishes he could’ve putt the ball better.“I did not putt well today,” Woods starts. “It could have easily been a nice, little 62 or 63. I turned it into a 67.”In his ninth tournament since returning from spinal fusion surgery, Tiger hit 14 of 18 greens. Not just that, but only two of his approach shots would land on the fringe. Therefore, Tiger gave himself chances aplenty to pick up strokes. He just couldn’t finish the job consistently. However, a delay would prevent him from taking his six-foot putt on 12 (which he would later miss after play continued). Then he followed up that miss with another one on 13, this time from only four feet out. However, the 90-minute delay is what worried Woods the most.
