Report: Glen Davis charged with felony assault, faces up to seven years in prison

Glen Davis was arrested back in April after allegedly beating up a man outside a West Hollywood nightclub, and on Wednesday news broke that he’s facing up to seven years in prison if convicted of the felony assault charges levied against him.“A rep for the L.A. County District Attorney’s office tells us the official charge is felony assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury … and it carries a possible 7-year prison sentence,” TMZ Sports reported.The man who was allegedly attacked by Davis ended up in the hospital with facial fractures, a broken tooth and broken ribs.This isn’t the only legal battle Davis is facing right now, either. He was arrested in March on drug charges as well. after being found with 126 grams of marijuana and over $92,000 in cash in a briefcase.Davis played his first four NBA seasons with the Boston Celtics and won a title with the team as a rookie. He last played in the NBA for the Los Angeles Clippers back in 2014-15.
