When discussing the top names in the upcoming NBA Draft, you’d be wise not to forget Michael Porter Jr.According to ESPN’s Fran Fraschilla, Porter was “extremely impressive” in his workout for the Dallas Mavericks, who hold the No. 5 pick. However, Fraschilla interprets this as a bit of gamesmanship on the part of the Mavericks, who are hoping someone else falls into their laps with that pick. Hey, maybe that Maverick staffer is telling the truth. Porter, after all, thinks he deserves to go even higher than fifth as he looks to get his career on track in the NBA following an injury-hit season at Missouri.
