Report: Tom Brady a 'semi-regular' at Gillette Stadium for throwing sessions

Tom Brady has been a no-show at New England Patriots OTAs but a new report indicates the quarterback has not been completely absent from team facilities. NBC Sports Boston’s Mike Giardi on Friday reported that Brady has been making “semi-regular” appearances at the Patriots’ practice facility at Gillette Stadium to participate in throwing sessions with Julian Edelman. Edelman has been a limited participant in OTAs coming off a torn ACL last offseason that saw him out for the entire 2017 NFL season. So it’s encouraging that he and Brady are getting some work in outside of the team to reestablish some chemistry.Brady’s absence from OTAs, meanwhile, was greeted with some confusion — not to mention concern — given he had previously espoused the importance of offseason training.That said, things have seemingly changed immensely within the Patriots organization, especially beginning late last season when rumors arose of infighting and organizational dysfunction, which the Patriots generally dismissed.Reports surfac
