Mayfield felt a 'whole lot of emotion' in call with Browns GM

The Cleveland Browns, as was expected in light of reporting leading up to Thursday’s first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, selected Baker Mayfield with the first-overall pick. And the former Oklahoma star and reigning Heisman Trophy winner was not surprisingly overcome with emotion when fielding the draft call from Browns general manager John Dorsey. The phone call between Mayfield and Dorsey, as detailed by Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot: “Baker, Mr. Dorsey. How are you?…Hey, lemme ask you a question?
